Visiting the website

We do not store any personal data when you visit this site. We do not track visitors to our website. You can use our website anonymously and without providing any personal data.

SSL or TLS encryption

This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of data. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser’s address bar. If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Web hosting

We process users’ data in order to provide them with our online services. For this purpose, we process the user’s IP address, which is necessary to transmit the content and functions of our online services to the user’s browser or device.

Processed data types: Usage data (e.g., websites visited, interest in content, access times); meta, communication and process data (e.g., IP addresses, time data, identification numbers, consent status).

Data subjects: Users (e.g., website visitors, users of online services).

Purposes of the processing: Provision of our online services and ease of use; information technology infrastructure (operation and provision of information systems and technical devices [computers, servers, etc.]); security measures.

Legal basis: legitimate interests (Art. 6[1.1f] GDPR).

Further information on processing operations, procedures and services:

Collection of access data and log files: Access to our online services is logged in the form of so-called “server log files”. The server log files may include the address and name of the web pages and files accessed, date and time of access, data volumes transferred, notification of successful access, browser type and version, the user’s operating system, referring URL (the previously visited page) and, as a rule, IP addresses and the requesting provider. The server log files can be used for security purposes, e.g., to avoid overloading the servers (especially in the case of abusive attacks – so-called “DDoS attacks”) and to ensure the utilisation of the servers and their stability. Legal basis: legitimate interests (Art. 6[1.1f] GDPR). Deletion of data: log file information is stored for a maximum of 30 days and then deleted or anonymised. Data whose further retention is required for evidential purposes is excluded from deletion until the respective incident has been finally resolved.

This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1b) GDPR, provided that your enquiry is related to the fulfilment of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of the enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6[1f] GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6[1a] GDPR) if this has been requested; consent can be revoked at any time.

We will retain the data you provide on the contact form until you request its deletion, revoke your consent for its storage, or the purpose for its storage no longer applies (e.g., after fulfilling your request). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of the enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6[1f] GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6[1a] GDPR) if this has been requested; consent can be revoked at any time.

Cookies

When our website is accessed, one or more cookies will be stored on the accessing computer. A cookie is a small file that contains a specific string of characters and uniquely identifies your browser. We use cookies to improve the convenience and quality of our service, for example by saving user settings. Cookies do not harm the user’s computer and do not contain viruses.

It is also possible to use the website without cookies. You can deactivate the storage of cookies in your browser, restrict it to certain websites or set your browser so that it notifies you before a cookie is stored. You can delete cookies from your computer’s hard drive at any time using your browser’s data protection functions. In this case, the functions and ease of use of the website could be restricted.

Google Fonts

This site uses so-called “web fonts” provided by Google for the consistent display of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly.

The browser you are using has to connect to Google’s servers for this purpose. This informs Google that our website has been accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Fonts is in the interest of a consistent and appealing presentation of our online services. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6(1f) GDPR.

If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font will be used by your computer.

Further information on Google Fonts can be found at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google’s privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.

Social-media buttons

We do not use plug-ins to social-media sites that, without being asked, transmit your data to companies such as Facebook, Google or Twitter, which can then track your surfing behaviour. Social networks can only request data from users if they click on the corresponding button.

YouTube

The Data Controller responsible for processing has integrated YouTube components into this website. YouTube is an Internet video portal that enables video publishers to post video clips free of charge and other users to view, rate and comment on them, also free of charge. YouTube allows the publication of all types of videos, which is why complete film and television programmes as well as music videos, trailers or videos made by users themselves can be accessed via the Internet portal.

YouTube is operated by YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. YouTube, LLC is a subsidiary of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043-1351, USA.

Each time one of the individual pages of this website is accessed that is operated by the Data Controller and into which a YouTube component (YouTube video) has been integrated, the Internet browser on Data Subject’s IT system is automatically prompted by the respective YouTube component to download a representation of the corresponding YouTube component from YouTube. Further information about YouTube can be found at https://about.youtube/. As part of this technical process, YouTube and Google receive information about which specific subpage of our website is visited by the Data Subject.

If the Data Subject is logged in to YouTube at the same time, YouTube recognises which specific subpage of our website the Data Subject is visiting when a subpage containing a YouTube video is accessed. This information is collected by YouTube and Google and assigned to the respective YouTube account of the Data Subject.

YouTube and Google always receive information via the YouTube component that the Data Subject has visited our website if the Data Subject is logged in to YouTube at the same time as accessing our website; this takes place regardless of whether the Data Subject clicks on a YouTube video or not. If the Data Subject does not want this information to be transmitted to YouTube and Google, he or she can prevent the transmission by logging out of their YouTube account before accessing our website.

The data protection provisions published by YouTube, which can be accessed at https://policies.google.com/privacy, provide information about the collection, processing and use of personal data by YouTube and Google.

When using the tools we provide, such as the YouTube navigation system, you accept YouTube’s terms of use by accessing them: https://www.youtube.com/t/terms
Approval can be revoked here: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions?pli=1
